Explore the dark side of Sydney’s Kings Cross with crime historian Elliot Lindsay as we explore the shady history of Kings Cross and the mysterious disappearance of Juanita Nielsen. This tour will take you through the key locations tied to her life, activism, and the events that led up to her vanishing on July 4, 1975, and beyond. Step into the world of Kings Cross, circa 1955 to 1985, where corruption, greed, and the underworld thrived, and Juanita’s fight against powerful forces cost her dearly.
Learn the history of the Cross from World War 2 to 1990 – its people, its clubs & brothels, and its fight against property developers.
Lunch at Potts Point Hotel will follow the walk for those who wish.
