Walk the Greenway – Hawthorne to Dulwich Hill

Join the Photography Group and walk the new path following the route of the light rail and Hawthorn Canal.

Commencing at Hawthorn light rail station to Dulwich Hill, the route takes us along the canal where there are some art installations under the railway line at Summer Hill and remnants of the old railway.

We will walk along the flat shared bike path to Lewisham where we will stop for refreshments at the Moulin Patisserie before continuing our walk to Dulwich Hill. We will then continue our walk to the Gladstone Hotel at Dulwich Hill for lunch. After lunch, you can either walk back to Hawthorn or catch the light rail.

Where: Meet at Hawthorn light rail station (on the path) at 10:00am.

Access/fitness: This is a flat well-made path about 4.5km long. There are some shady parts and some quite exposed, therefore a hat is advised.
