Travel Chat – Central Rhodes Walk & Eat
Our next Travel Chat is a Walk and Eat around Rhodes Central. Your eyes and tastebuds will be introduced to the many cuisines offered to the residents who live in the surrounding high-rise apartments. Start with coffee in the Bamboo Lane, learn about the fast-changing history of Rhodes, walk around cafes and restaurants from Singapore to Shanghai, and Tokyo to Taiwan. End up with a yum char lunch with Chinese tea.

Where:
We meet at 10:00 am sharp at the “Baby Boss Coffee”, Shop K04 on the Ground level inside Rhodes Central, 6 Walker St Rhodes.

Duration:
Approximately 4 hours
Getting there:
Best to catch the train or On Demand Bridj bus to Rhodes Station. Rhodes Central is directly opposite the station on the western side.
If driving, there is street parking with a four-hour time limit on the northern part of Walker St and Foreshore Drive.
Cost:
Bring cash to cover the cost of drinks and lunch. Estimated cost around $35.
Closing date for bookings:
Sunday 5 July by 5:00 pm.
Preference will be given to members who have attended Travel Chat this year. It is expected that the limit will be quickly reached based on previous demand for our “Walk and Eat” tours.
Participants will be sent an email to confirm if they are included in the walking tour. People who missed out will be placed on a waiting list.
