Portia Geach Memorial Art Prize Exhibition

The Portia Geach Memorial Award is annually presented to an Australian female artist for the best portrait painted from life of a man or woman distinguished in art, letters or the sciences. Finalists and this year’s winner are now on display at the S.H Ervin Gallery.

We will catch the ferry to Circular Quay and walk up to the S.H. Ervin Gallery, Observatory Hill, stopping for coffee along the way. After viewing the exhibition, we will walk back down to the Rocks for lunch.

Access/fitness

There is a 10-15 minute walk to the gallery from Circular Quay involving some steps

Getting there:

Meet at Cabarita Wharf at 9.15 am to catch the 9.22 am ferry. Anyone wishing to travel by train can meet at Circular Quay.

Cost:

Entry to the gallery is $12 concession, free for National Trust members. Refreshments at own cost.
