Photography Group – Newtown Mural Walk

A six to seven km walk around the streets of Newtown to view a variety of murals and street art together with a few interesting buildings.

When: Tuesday 21 July 2026

Getting there: We will catch the 9:52am train from Burwood station to Newtown and enjoy a coffee at Cafe Newtown before out walk. We will visit the Camperdown cemetery – walking shoes are recommended. Meet at Cafe Newtown at 10:00am.

We will finish back at Newtown station and have lunch at the Bank Hotel before catching the train home.

Access/fitness: Overgrown cemetery and city streets mostly flat.
