This month’s Movie Group will convene at the relatively recently refurbished Event Cinemas at Westfield BURWOOD.

Friends, the pickings are slim again, given the school holiday offerings that abound. However, I think we will enjoy watching The Invite, with a terrific cast: Penelope Cruz, Edward Norton, Olivia Wilde and Seth Rogan.

It centers on an unhappy married couple who host another couple — they live upstairs — for an uncomfortable, and revelatory, evening of dinner and charcuterie. The trailer promises a lot of laughs along with perhaps some interesting talking points!

Time: 12.40pm

This month’s door prize is fantastic – a $100 voucher for the Palace Hotel, Mortlake. Please try and arrive ten minutes prior to the session to collect your door prize ticket.

Validation is available for extended parking if required.
