Expressions of interest are sought from members to be part of a small group tour to Japan during the beautiful autumn colours of late Oct to early November 2027 (Note: exact dates to be confirmed).
This 15-day trip will use the tour company and local guide that come recommended by the Breakfast Point Probus Club which has run five previous highly successful trips.

Highlights:
Historic temples, Emperor residences and castles. Iconic and chaotic shopping of Shibuya. Views of majestic Mount Fuji. Stay in a traditional ryokan (hot spring) inn. Travel on bullet train. Walk through towering bamboo groves and Zen gardens. Visit Nara Park with its free roaming deer. Walk through a geisha quarter. Experience a variety of Japanese cuisine ranging from street food to expensive wagu beef, and a traditional multi-course dinner sitting. Partake of a tea ceremony. Learn about the process of distilling single malt whisky and the creation of fine porcelain treasures.
