In December 2024, our WEA Discussion Group completed the last of six units discussing Changes in the City of Sydney from 1900 to 1969. Topic materials are compiled, printed, and distributed by subject matter experts at WEA, forming the basis of each unit’s reading and discussion by group members.
We are keen to choose the next topic from WEA’s wide range of materials (www.weasydney.com.au/courses/discussion-groups), and we invite any other Probus members who may be interested to join.
Front-runners for the next topic based on current members’ preferences, are:
- Religion and Politics around the world
- The Middle East past and present
- Rebellion behind the Eureka Stockade
Where, when, and how often we meet is flexible and will reflect the preferences of the group members.
Cost will depend on the topic selected. As an indication, the previous 6-unit course was $60 per person.
To indicate your interest please contact the convener, Rob Mitchell, by completing the form below.
