The Taronga Zoo to Chowder Bay harbour walk is a beautiful 9Km out and back walk with views of Sydney and the picturesque harbour.
The walk is described as Easy/Moderate with some steps and stairs along the way, and steep steps at the halfway point up to the Chowder Bay Coffee Shop. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
Wear good walking shoes and take a jacket and water bottle. Walking sticks and a snack are optional.

Getting there:
Public Transport is the preferred option.
Step 1. Train or Ferry to Circular Quay
Step 2. Catch the 9.50 Am Ferry to Taronga. Wharf 4.
Getting back:
Ferry Taronga to Circular Quay. The walk will finish at Circular Quay.
