Wisteria Garden and Spring Blossom Trees
Travel to Parramatta Park to see the Wisteria Garden and Spring Blossom trees in bloom.
We will meet at the Good George cafe at the gate on O’Connell Street, Parramatta Park (Westmead end of the park). After everyone has assembled, we will walk or drive (carpool) to the Wisteria Garden. This is about a 20-minute walk along the roads in the park.
After viewing the Wisteria, for those wishing to have lunch or a refreshment, we will walk back to Club Parramatta.
When: Tuesday 15 September 2026 at 10.30am.
Getting there: There is 2-hour free parking in the park, and you can later park for free at Club Parramatta after getting your lunch purchase validated.
It is possible to get the train or ferry to Parramatta. Use the light rail to take you closer by taking it to Westmead and walking 300m back to the park.
Access/fitness: About 1.5km. Some inclines but mostly flat.
Cost: Refreshments at own cost.
