Salon des Refusé at the S.H. Ervin Gallery – Thursday 7 July 2022

The Salon des Refusés is the S.H. Ervin Gallery’s ‘alternative’ selection from works entered into the annual Archibald and Wynne Prizes. The exhibition is held in the National Trust building at Observatory Hill.

This year 55 works have been selected from among the hundreds submitted. They have been selected for their quality, diversity, humour and experimentation, or those which examine contemporary art practices, different approaches to portraiture, and responses to the landscape.
