Visit the heritage buildings of the old Darlinghurst gaol currently hosting its 100th anniversary as home to the National Art School. We follow this with a trip to the Paddington Reservoir Gardens, hailed as a blend of the ancient Baths of Caracalla in Rome and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
Stay for lunch at the Paddington RSL.

Getting there: Meet at 10 am at the Rusty Rabbit Cafe, 252 Forbes street Darlinghurst for a pre-excursion coffee.
The cafe is a 15 minute walk from the Museum Train Station. If coming via Ferry, the 333 bus goes up Oxford street via Elizabeth Street, whilst the 440 from Central Station travels up Oxford street the same way.
After visiting the National Art School, we will walk back to Oxford street and on to the Paddington reservoir gardens – another 15 minute walk. On completion, we will lunch at the Paddington RSL before walking or catching a bus back to the city.
