A warm welcome to the Probus Club – Cabarita & Breakfast Point and to your website.
Our website is the club’s main means of communicating with our membership in general, and we encourage you to explore it as soon as you can. Here is a link to the website’s Homepage which displays current Announcements, Reminders and Event Reviews. The Homepage also includes a handy calendar showing Member and Executive Committee Meeting dates, links to various archives, and from the Main Menu you can navigate to important information about our club and its administration.
For all the fun stuff, head on over to the pages for Interest Groups, Outings, and Travel, which you can access either by the Main Menu, or by clicking on the image links on the Homepage.
Join one or more of the many Interest Groups that are currently active – just click on the image for a group to access details of what they do, when and where they meet. Complete and submit the Contact Form to let the group convener know of your interest.
Our Outings page includes details of scheduled activities and events that take only a single day or part thereof. For our intrepid travellers, the Travel page lists multi-day trips and excursions both within Australia and overseas. Click the VIEW DETAIL button to get full information and to complete the convener Contact Form. But be in quick – these activities are very popular and fill up quickly.
Each time a new Outing or Travel event is published, members get a notification email to their registered inbox with a link to the activity page. These notifications often arrive in a Junk or Spam folder in the first instance – please check and use your devices process for moving notification emails to your main Inbox.
If you are not receiving notification emails at all, please contact the Website Administrator.
Important: If you are not regularly opening your emails for some reason – maybe because your partner gets the same emails in their inbox – please let the Website Administrator know so that we can unsubscribe you. This is important to ensure that our website does not develop a digital reputation for sending unwanted spam which incurs penalties.
