We will walk to visit the nearby Hindu temple and Catholic church. We eat snacks such as Vietnamese Banh Minh, Chinese yum cha and Indian and Sri Lankan fast food and go to the place which many people claims “sells the best Chinese roast pork”.

There will be time to look at shops which sell Asian groceries, fresh seafood (some swimming in tanks) and fresh produce.

Lunch is at a restaurant which serves fresh Vietnamese and Chinese dishes.

Where:  Flemington Shopping Centre.

Getting There:  Easily accessed by public transport to Flemington station or by car.

When:  Wednesday 12 April 2023 at 11:00 am to about 1:30 pm.

Historic Windsor – Walk of Interest – Tuesday 18 April 2023

A coach will transport us on a day trip to Windsor. The focus of the day is to explore at your pace the historic sites via a self-guided walking tour. To sustain the walkers and avid photographers, both morning tea and lunch is provided.

Limit of numbers: The coach can carry 50 passengers.

When: Tuesday 18 April 2023. Meet at 8:15 am for an 8:30 am departure.

Rose Bay to Watsons Bay Walk – Tuesday 28 March 2023

This is an 8km Coastal/Urban walk which begins at the Rose Bay Ferry and ends at Watsons Bay.

This walk is a combination of 60% quiet urban streets and 40% through coastal parks and reserves.

Where: The walk starts at the Rose Bay Ferry Wharf.  Suggest we meet for coffee at Jes Ve before starting.

When:  Tuesday 28 March 2023.
