A 10km loop walk through the Wetlands and Grasslands of Sydney Olympic Park – no stadiums or urban areas. Bring your binoculars for the brick pit and other wetlands.
The walk starts at the Olympic Park Ferry Wharf a short stroll along the Parramatta River before looping inland via the Archery Park and the Brick Pit Ring Walk. The walk continues along Duck Creek through the Armory and back to the Ferry.
The average time is 2 hours 30 minutes. Allow around 3 to 3.5 hours with lunch and rest stops. Coffee is available at the start of the walk with snacks and lunch available at the Armory Cafe at the 8km point.
Getting there: Starting point is Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf at 10.00 am. Suggest the 9.19 am Cabarita Ferry to Sydney Olympic Park, 15 minutes travel on the ferry.
Return by ferry to Cabarita.
