For our May gourmet selection, Dining out members travelled to Enfield to enjoy a sumptuous Middle Eastern feast at Jbeil Cuisine restaurant. The banquet option included both cold and hot mezze dishes with the skewered kafta, laham meshwi, and shish tawook all melt-in-the-mouth delicious.
Hommos was a particular favourite, but the entire meal was a big hit with our enthusiastic diners, finished with a delectable morsel of baklava.
Jbeil Cuisine has become a local gem – a reflection of its popularity. Even on a Wednesday evening it was jumping with activity, though not so much that our group couldn’t readily converse – and laugh – in comfort. It was a great vibe contributing to a really enjoyable dining out experience.
