This is an easy walk of Newtown, approximately a 5km walk that takes you into the back streets of Newtown to see some of the impressive street art and some of the few remaining heritage buildings.

Getting there: It is best to travel by train as parking can be difficult in the area. If leaving from Strathfield, catch the 9:19am train on platform 7 or the 9:22am from Burwood on platform 5. Use the last carriage as this is closer to the Newtown station exit.
This will get us to Newtown at approximately 9:30am where we will convene for coffee at the Newtown cafe on the corner of Enmore Road and Kings Street (across from the station).
We will finish for lunch in the Bank Hotel near the station.
Cost: Travel and refreshments at own cost.
