Join the Bushwalking group for an easy/moderate, out and back walk of 9km from Taronga Zoo Wharf to Chowder Bay. There are great views of the city and harbour to experience but note that there are some sets of stairs to navigate. Good walking shoes and a light jacket for the coastal breeze will be required.
The average walking time is 2hrs 15min but we will allow 3hrs to include a half-way coffee stop at the Drift Cafe, Chowder Bay. There are toilet stops along the walk. We will conclude the walk at the Museum of Contemporary Art where those who wish to stay can have lunch at the museum cafe on the 4th floor. The MCA cafe has great views of the Quay and Opera House, and a good lunch menu.
