Join the Bushwalking group in a 10km point to point moderate walk from the Spit to Manly.
Duration is an average 2.5hrs however, allow around 3 hours as the plan is to stop for coffee and to allow additional time for regrouping stops.
When: Tuesday 26 July 2022.
Time: Meet at 10.30 am.
Where: The starting point is Ellery’s Punt Reserve, under the Spit Bridge.
Getting There: Public Transport Public is the preferred option.
Step 1. Train to St Leonards Station.
Step 2. Catch the 144 Bus to Manly. Bus Stop is on Pacific Highway outside the station.
Step 3. Hop off bus at first stop over the Spit Bridge (Seaforth side) Battle Boulevard & Manly Road. Press the stop button when you are on the bridge. Cross under the bridge – To Ellery’s Punt Reserve.
Getting Back: Repeat bus 144, Manly to St. Leonards OR get the Manly ferry to Circular Quay, then ferry or train.
Drive Option: Spit Bridge parking area, 12P Battle Boulevard, Manly Road. Note, take the bus 114 bus back to Spit Bridge which stops on the Southern side near Orso Restaurant with a walk back to the car park.
