Manly Art Gallery is displaying works for Joan Ross, Fiona Lowry and Merran Esson.
This is part of a collaborative exhibition between Manly Art Gallery and Museum, Mosman Art Gallery and the National Trust’s SH Ervin Gallery.
It showcases artworks responding to the theme of Sydney as a place of creative endeavours with a strong focus on the work of major Australian women artists, all connected by their concern for landscape and the environment.
Also at the Manly Art Gallery at this time are “Sydney Harbour – Treasures from the Vault” and “Burumerring Nura (Wedge Tailed Eagle Country)” by female Indigenous artist Aleta Wassell.
After the gallery, we will have lunch at El Camino on Manly wharf.
Where: Manly Art Gallery – 1 West Esplanade, a short walk from the Manly Ferry Wharf.
When: Wednesday 23 February 2022 at 9:45 am. Meet at Cabarita Wharf at 9:45 am to catch the 9:52 am ferry to Circular Quay, then the 10:40 am Manly Fast Ferry to Manly.
