Callan Park Visit – Tuesday 20 April 2021

Join the Photography group on a visit to Callan Park, strolling the gardens and viewing, from the outside, the historic buildings which includes the Kirkbride Complex, Garry Owen House and Broughton Hall. Take in the interesting rock carvings at Iron Cove.

Cameras are not necessary as all members who just want a walk in the sunshine and take in the beauty of the surroundings are welcome.

The walk will end at Iron Cove along the Bay Run.  As there are no shops nearby, bring a picnic lunch.

Getting there:  Self drive.  Parking is available in a carpark adjoining the NSW Ambulance base in Balmain Road, Rozelle. Car pooling is recommended.  As the site is large and a bit hilly,  you may consider moving your car during the day and park it on Waterside Drive.  A map will be forwarded to those who book for this outing.

Time:  9.30 am. Meet at the Pane E Cipolla cafe in Balmain Road.

Cost:  No cost apart from your coffee etc.

Convener:  Please advise Colin Peterson using the online booking form to notify your intention to join the visit.

Note:  Colin will have the list of attendees on hand and will ensure no one will be left behind and will wait if necessary.
