What a wonderful opportunity we had to end 2020 celebrating two very successful and happy Christmas Luncheons at the Concord Golf Club.
A total of 108 members enjoyed these two luncheons and there was joy and smiles all round as members were able catch up with many friends they had not seen for months.
There were laughs from every table as we were entertained by the English Comedian, Michael McIntyre (via YouTube) with two very comical skits on ‘spices in our pantry’ and ‘a visit to the dentist’ – both of which we have surely experienced. These were finished off with an amazing and moving performance by a young Fireman who sang “Bring Him Home” from the popular Broadway musical Les Misérables.
All in all, a lovely day for all.
